People's Pension Direct - Setup Link

Before you can submit workers and contributions to People's Pension, you will need to authorise your Qtac Payroll software.

The guide below will walk you through configuring the pension fund and authorising it with the pension provider.

Setting up your pension fund

The first step will be to configure Qtac to use the direct API for the pension fund in question.

You can do this in 'Company' > 'Pensions' using the 'Use pension provider API' tick box and setting the API provider to 'Qtac' 

Creating the link to People's Pension

When you are ready to submit to People's Pension follow the steps below to finish the linking 

1. Go to 'Auto Enrolment' > 'People Pension Direct' > 'Contributions'  
   
   
2. Select the pay frequency and tax period you want to send and click 'Submit' 
3. Once you have clicked 'submit' you will get the box below, you will need to enter your People's Pension credentials.

Once you have entered these details into the software, they will be automatically saved for your future submissions.

Qtac is now linked to People's Pension, ready for future submissions to take place.
