Below is a walk though to aid you through the process of updating the Qtax Pro software.
To ensure your software is always performing to its best you should regularly check for Qtax updates.
Update Wizard
- Make sure all users are logged out of the Qtax Pro software.
- To download the update please click the following link and select the relevant year.
https://www.qtac.co.uk/docs/Updates/QTAXPro/ - If you click the file listed – click ‘Run’ or ‘Save‘ (these options depend on your Web Browser)
When the file has finished opening/downloading, open the file and a ‘Welcome to the Qtax Pro Update Wizard’ window will appear.
- The ‘Destination Folder’ path will point to default location of Qtax Pro. If you have installed your software to a different location then click on ‘Browse’ and navigate to that location.
- Click ‘Extract‘. Once extracted the update screen will close down
- You have successfully updated Qtax pro to the latest version!
To Check the version that you are on, in Qtax pro you can go to 'Help' > 'About' the version number will then be displayed on the second line.
