In December 2014 the HMRC announced that the end of year (EOY) declarations within RTI submissions are no longer mandatory and employers can choose not to submit them.
In the 2015/2016 software the EOY declarations are not submitted as part of your final submission by default, however it is possible to enable this functionality and include declarations in your final RTI submissions.
Enabling End of Year Declarations
EOY declarations can be enabled by navigating to Admin > System Options and checking the ‘Include EOY Declarations’ check box. This is a system wide setting and will include EOY declarations for all companies on your payroll software.
Setting End of Year Declarations
You can set your EOY declarations by going into Company Maintenance > Declarations for each company.
The EOY declarations are automatically included in any M12 or W52+ FPS or M12 EPS. The declarations can be reviewed prior to submitting.
